It's so calm here that takes awhile to get used to but after that nobody wants to go back north anymore.

You will love it.The appealing thing about Ocala is it is NOT like the rest of Florida. It has beautiful rolling hills, horse farms and citrus orchards. PLUS it has FLORIDA weather. You can golf every month of the year. Great value in housing. We love it.OVERALLAtmosphere

Marion SoaksThis place is awful. Quickly becoming a Schenectady, NY #2. Far from beaches, not 45 mins from Orlando thats an urban myth, it's more like an hour and a half.
People are flocking here because of the cheap prices and blah blah blah. Moving here would be a grave mistake.
