I loved the whole atmosphere, no bars, and you could see the animals up close. I wanted to throw some little hoodlums into the pond but my husband would not let me. I liked the staff and seeing the alligators so close was an experience.

We loved Gatorland
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 03/25/08
Gatorland was awesome! My familly had a great time here. It clean, and entertaining. We loved getting away from the Disney hussle for a couple of hours. My kids loved seeing the fierce strength of the gators at the shows. They loved trying a "gator nugget", tasted like chicken! My daughter loved having here hair braided by the ladies! We are going to Florida again in November, and definately will make plans for Gatorland.

Great Time
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 03/19/08
Gatorland was a great break from HIGH disney prices, although you do pay addition for a couple things in the park, you can still have an awesome time for admission only! Gatorland is great park for people who have an interest in Reptiles. There are 3 humurous shows, and plenty of things to make a day of fun. The splash park- which is basically a ...

less crowded than disney
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/28/08
My kids actually liked Gatorland better than Disney world which, when we went, was wall to wall crowded. Gatorland had lots of open space to breath and enjoy nature and there were no lines.

Kid's loved it!!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/14/08
We went to Gatorland with some tickets our friends got us that live there. I didn't know what to think when we pulled up. I thought to myself, "Well we didn't have to pay for it!" The staff was very nice and welcomed us right in. I thought we would be out of there within an hour. We ended up staying for a while. We first took in ...

Gatorland - says what it is on the tin!
By biggator38, 01/06/08
Gatorland is known as the “alligator capital of the world”. Whilst it says what it is on the tin, there is so much else to do and see at this laid back attraction away from the madness of the major theme parks. Gatorland boasts of course hundreds of alligators, as well as a breeding marsh, petting zoo, aviary, nature trail, reptilian ...

By A Yahoo! Contributer, 11/24/07
When we got there, from the outside it looked a bit like we had wasted a journey... but the staff immediatl changed that and were lovley... got in the park, all very low key/low tech, but excellent to get up so close to everything.. You get to interact with the less scary animals of the park, even get to put your hand in the tank with snakes and ...

First time
By Jay, 07/30/07
This place was so much fun. It was worth every penny just to see Chester--the biggest alligator I have ever seen. Very neat to see crocodiles too. Shows were exciting and educational. We fed the lorikeets, had our picture taken with a python and gator, and fed the gators hotdogs. It was a great way to spend a half day.
My daughter wanted to see the alligators so for that reason we went. It was okay. We saw two of the shows which were okay but they charge for everything... to sit on the gator plus if they take pictures you also have to pay for that, to hold the snake you have to pay and if you want a picture you have to pay extra, etc. Ridiculous! Personally I ...

Horrible.
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/22/07
My Husband and I took our 2 daughters there on our family vacation thinking it would be a good break from the parks, which I guess it would be if you want to see animals exploited and abused. These animals are kept in small dirty cages and "wrestled" for entertainment. We paid $85.00 and left after 1 hour. I guess some people will do anything for a buck, and that is the feeling we got from this place.
