interlachen is by far not the best. I used to go there everyday. If you are looking for an upscale club you should really head south.

Interlachen has a nice golf course, but it is also a sea of too many bad Boca Raton-like face lifts, too much whining; the men seem to do a monologue of bragging--about which no one quite understands the point... The Club is not very children friendly. For example, The Debutante ball was canceled for lack of interest. This was very disappointing ...

Interlachen, due to its outstanding staff and newly, redesigned golf course by Steve Smyers, who designed Old Memorial and Wolf Run, is easily the best club in the Orlando area and possibly the southeast. The course has great risk/reward holes that Smyers is known for creating including 3 under 400 yards even though the course covers over 7200. The membership is very diverse, unlike the Country Club of Orlando.

This is the best course in the Orlando area. The newly redesigned course by Steve Smyers is bound to be highly rated. It will be a great test for any level of golfer. The staff is friendly and the private club is full with a waiting list. It is the best place to belong to in Orlando.

i am a member at interlachen and it is the best private club i have ever been to besides islworth and hawks ridge in georgia the practice facilities are great so is the course. The proshop and staff are also nice and so is the mens grill. Theres really nothing more i could ask for in a private club than what interlachen has.
