The Discovery Cruise is a great way to escape to the Bahamas for the day or for a couple of days. The ship is practical and affordable. It is a simple 5 hour boat ride to the Bahamas and back. Since we are a family of 5, it was a good way to travel. You can even get a room if you want privacy.

First off: make sure you go two hours before 7:00am because you have to wait in 4 long lines before boarding the ship. The ship is very old fashioned, think 1970's style, and smells like mildew. The Discovery is back in full service. Just returned from my cruise and it was GREAT! The ship was clean, the food was very good, and the staff provided excellent service. I will definitely travel with Discovery again.
