Tropical Park is laid out with a road down the middle, and that works very well to connect every thing while giving the park the feel of a neighborhood. At one end is the lake and the little pond. every year during christmas time, there's a fair called Santa's Enchanted Forest. Its so beautiful. They also Have free rides and shows. Also, they have other events year round. Its a great place for the family.

it`s in the middle of nowhere,and there is nothing tropical about it there is hardly any landscaping,it`s a bunch of sportsfields,
which is o.k. if you want to do sports,
but other than that there is nothing to see!

likes: great for running, basketball, baseball & many races were held here. they have a track for speedsters & many ancillary activities, such as street hockey & rc racing.

dislikes: miami runners club no longer based here.

i recommend this park for all, novice to pro. i hope more events will be scheduled here, maybe even a triathlon. its one of the few parks that offers so much & doesnt charge just to enter it.

Its really a paradise on the earth. Specially when we are bored of city life the Floria gives us nice windy and pleasent feelings. and seeing nature alway attract me while getting l0ad of work on your shoulder you could only get relaxed by the nature.

Its a good place to train (running up and down the tallest mountain in Miami) Or, you could just hang out by the water. Or perhaps take some picutes of the scenery.

This park is just great. What ever sport youre into you could just basically train here for just about anything. By far the best recreational park in South Florida. Plenty of room, plenty to do (including batting cages, tennis, baseball fields, picnic areas) It's conveniently located too - just off the Palmetto expressway.
