It only costs a few dollars to get into the park. The beach is quite nice, though there is a lot of seaweed and the beach is narrow. I recommend bringing snorkeling gear. I saw a sting ray and a dead sea horse. Also, the jungle area in the park is cool to walk through.

Be sure to check out the Lighthouse Cafe by the beach. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

We like it because it is close to our house, it is one of the best beaches in the entire United States. There is a familiar atmosphere (families with their children, etc.) I have never seen troublemaking people there.
