The Venetian Pool is absolutely awsome. It's an old quarry that they've turned into a beautiful freshwater pool. There is no salt and no chemicals, the drain the pool every night to keep it nice.
The Good:
Everything. The water is beautiful the sand is nice. It's a great place to spend a day.
The Bad:
It's kind of hard to find. Both times I've gone I ended up driving around a bit to locate it.

I grew up in Miami, FL and always loved going to this pool. I have fond memories of it--everything from the sandy beach, to the cool caves you and a friend could explore. It is very unique and beautiful; the photos do not do it justice. I will surely go there again if I ever re-visit Florida again!

I loved the venetian pool because of the fresh water and rocks. It is like an oasis.
Its cheap to get, its really quiet and peaceful, the setting is idilic, and if you want that beach effect without all the saltwater you can sit on the sand situated by the pool.

i am a 13 year old boy and i just want to say that i went to this pool for summer camp in my school and this is a very nice pool to swim. there is no chlorine in the water, so i like that and they have a cafeteria that sells good curly fries. i paid to $2 dollars to get in for 2 hours.

A fun place to go and swim, hide in the caves or just jump from the sides.

beautiful place. deep water(green), feel like swimming in 18 century. check out hours and bring bathsuit if you wanna swim.

Not worth the drive. It's just a swimming pool...looks like a hotel pool. Very disappointing.
