Everytime I come down to south Florida I always make it to Robert's Fruit Stand. Robert sells the best fruit that I have ever come across. I am coming south again Labor Day weekend for 10 days & will be going right by the store but you won't be there. Enjoy your break, you deserve it. I'll just have to make another trip soon, after October when you reopen.

I bought some of the huge ugly tomatoes, delicious! Out of the seeds are just growing my own Uglies, here in Germany. Also delidious! I will get seeds again.

I LEFT FLORIDA 1 YEAR AGO AND I MISS ROBERT'S . I WOULD STOP THERE ON MY WAY TO HIKE IN THE EVERGLADES.THE AMAZING FRUIT AND THE ANIMALS OUT BACK MAKE IT FUN. WHO WOULD THINK A KEY LIME SHAKE WOULD BE ANY GOOD MY SON AND I FOUGHT OVER THE ONE WE BOUGHT. I'D GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE ONE NOW. I LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA AND THERE ARE NO KEY LIME SHAKES HERE. JUST BORING OLD GROUCHY PEOPLE AND MCDONALDS.

Robert and his co-workers are great! We never miss a chance to stop at Roberts for the smoothies (My favorite is Mango-Mamey) and what ever wonderful Carribean fruit is in season. Robert is a great supporter of the kids in his community. We love it when he hires musicians to come out and play for the afternoon. Don't forget to see the turtles ...
