The Discovery Sun is really a ferry between Ft. Lauderdale and freeport but it has great food, entertainment, service, and casino for the 4 hour run each way. Sure, if you take it as a cruise expecting something else you might feel otherwise.

Its an old dirty, run-down ship. The food was lousy.

Really, there is little to like about the Discovery Sun cruise from Ft Lauderdale to the Grand Bahama Island. It is uncomfortable, There is little to do, the food was just plain awful. The state room was like a prison cell, and they nickle and dime you to death sucking your cash out of your pocket and making you fish for money all the time.

It was not a pleasant experience.
