Limited amount of RV and tent sites. Recently all shade trees (exotic) were removed off sites so RVers have no shade. Gravel from sites is long gone when you have rain your site turns into white mud.
Terrible beaches, soil is rock hard, no sand at all. If you are looking for a good and sandy beach to spend the day never go to these place. I didn't go snorkeling so I can't do any comments on that.

We took a trip out to John Pennekamp State Park, on the Reef Roamer Catamaran. We did the sunset snorkel and sail with free champagne and it was the highlight of our vacation. I visited the park and the beach is small and be advised Key Largo doesn't have sand. The beaches are more like small stones. We went kayaking and you could only go about a mile and everything else was off limits. I didn't go snorkeling at the Park so I can't comment on that but I heard it is good.
