This is a well maintained beach - great for families! Took the kids all over and pay $$$ for attractions & entertainment & this was by far their favorite! We even stayed through lunch and had Papa Johns deliver pizza & sodas! : )

Likes: It is a nice facility, outdoor showers with sprays for overhead or feet, restrooms are okay, playground for kids, good tables for picknicking with grilles. Nicely landscaped. Sort of isolated from tourists unless you look it up.
Dislikes: Homeless(?) people sleeping under the trees and trash everywhere in the sand. They groom the sand but ...

Nice little beach in Marathon. I did get stung by a sting ray however so just a heads up that they are present at the beach. Otherwise a great place to go and kick back.

My brother lives in Marathon minutes away from the beach. We try to go there every time we visit. The beach is always clean and there are volleyball nets and a playground for the kids. The playground has a special foam padding to protect against falls. Bathrooms are also always very clean.

Great place to bring a kayak or to rent one from Marathon Kayak. We saw a ton of fish, birds and a stingray.

Bring sunscreen and you can spend the day out at the beach!

Nice beach but careful if your kids (or you) are leary about swimming with seagrass. Nice sand and a free and quiet beach that is very calm and shallow.
