My mom and I travel to the keys fairly often seeing as we live in south florida, but no matter what or who we're with we always stop by Anne's beach. It's a great place to bring our dog and let off the leash to run under our supervision.
I will admit this beach has a few spots with a clay-like bottom, but it's still great fun and there are always ways to avoid them.
