  • New Yorker take on Las Olas
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Atmossphere reminds me of a cross between Palm Springs and Greenwich Village. Vibrant, lively, classy but somewhat restrained (hence the Palm Springs reference)

Great place to eat dinner al fresco (in every season but summer) and walk off those calories. Summer has its advantages when comes to getting reservations at my favorites Indigo ...

Las Olas BLVD. was a excellent experience, but a very OVER priced area. Definetly recommend the Floridian restaraunt. Great food, great price

All it is a meat market for people,I was down there and the girls looked like hookers and the guys were rude and snotty as were the girls. Breeding grounds for bad things to happen. I will never go to that part again. No place for a family.

  • Rodeo Drive?
    By Dogwoodwind, 06/23/05
Like everything else in the area...overpriced.
Where else can you buy a $10 for $50...Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. This was the Rodeo Drive of Florida. Nice stores but way outa my price ranges. Enjoyed the visit via Water Taxi/Bus.

  • Perfect for adults and couples
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/05
I was truly attracted by the atmosphere of Las Olas Boulevard. It's totally different from Miami. It's calm and there're many nice restaurants, bars and rich people. Especially a jazz bar 'Las Olas' was awesome!! Perfect for dating place.

  • Fantastic central location for great shopping and dining
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/05
Las Olas is the hub of Fort Lauderdale, as far as having a concentrated and seemingly limitless supply of great restaurants, great shopping (especially good boutique stores), and great people-watching without the beach-rat types. Fairly pricey, but worth it. Plenty of European-style sidewalk dining, and at night the clubs thrive with great fun & ...

The atmosphere and casual feeling of safety and fun was great.
We loved the lights at night and the personality of the area.

  • The Cheesecake Factory
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/05
I found Las Olas Blvd. to be a great experience. My family and I came to Ft. Lauderdale on a promotion. We had no idea what were going to do while we were visiting. The hotel recommended Las Olas Blvd. to us and we enjoyed every minute. We visited The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. This was my and my husband's first visit to there. My mom and ...
