  • flying high
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
I liked it because we could learn the history of aviation by seeing all the real planes and equipment used in real life. It is a hugh place which allows room for many people. I also liked the full wall screen movie theater. What a great way to spend a day with the family!

  • It was a good chance to see different planes!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
I liked how they had old planes on display and the captions about the product so we can learn more. I think younger boys would like the experience because they are usually interested in airplanes.

  • Everytime we go there, it's awesome!
    By GALINA, 09/26/05
There is always something new there but it's too crowed sometimes. There should be more activities for little kids who become tired very soon. Coat check in cold season would be also very helpfull

  • Don't Miss the Movies!
    By Susan, 09/26/05
The Air and Space Museum has the greatest movies in DC or anywhere else! The IMAX theatre is wonderful, and the movies actually made by NASA are nothing short of inspirational. A great way to wow kids with no worries about inappropriate content.

  • A wonderful sight, a must see!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/05
I liked this place the most because of the wonderful displays of airplanes, especially the Wright Brothers plane being the eye catcher in the front. I loved the astronauts' costumes and their memorabilia. I liked everything about it, nothing I dislike that I know of.

It's one of those places where everytime you go, you always see and learn something different. It's in a great location off of the National Mall, and walking distance to the Smithsonian, Reflection Pool, Lincoln Monument, Washington Monument, as well as other great National treasures!
