The National Air and Space Museum is a fascinating place to visit. There are airplane from the earliest up to the present & space vehicles too. A great place to take our two sons & they loved it.
Love it! Love it so much that I am now volunteering there. So I get to see it before it opens. And it's always nice to see people enjoying themselves when they visit the museum. Don't forget the second location, by Dulles airport: 4 times the size, with a sace shuttle, a Concord and much more!

Always bring your family to visit the national Air & Space Museum. My sons loved every trip to this national treasure. Everything from the entire history of flight of our great and wonderful country. Much insight into the vast and rapid technological advances we have had.
One gets to see all kinds of space vehicles including lunar modules in one place. that's just great. ANd of course my favorite is Spirit Of Saint Luis!
My favorite place in DC. Traces the history of man's technological advancements in the 20th Century. On my most recent visit I visited the annex near Dullus Airport that includes the Enola Gay, the Space Shuttle and the Concored.
I would go every month from the time it opened until I left D.C. Today, it is mandatory for me to take my son there EVERY time we go to D.C. The exibits are well done, the layout is tasteful and the gift shops are AWESOME according to my son. It is great for families, international guests , schools and home school groups. It is place for the senior ...
I really liked this place because it was reall fun. Even though it was kind of exspensive to do some of the stuff, I would really like to go back sometime.

One-of-a-kind attractions, all of historic significance. The Air & Space Annex is also a must-see!
Take your time when going through the museum. Don't get caught in the rush of schoolkids that run through everyday.
When I was kid my dream was live in the spaceship. Well now I grow up I have to work, the reality forces me to forget my dream. When I visited National Air and Space Museum, I just realized actually my childhood dream it did not fade away, all my old memories camp up my mind. It's an excellent place and reason for me to go back Washington DC again!!!
