Even if you have never been in an airplane you must see the National Air and Space Museum. You will see the plane used by the Wright Brothers for the flight in an airplane. All sizes and shapes of planes used throught out history.

Ever since I was young, this has been my favorite of the museams in Washington DC to visit. Replicas and real air/spacecraft is what draws you in. The IMAX theatre has always had interesting and exploratory films that make it worthwhile. And nothing beats stopping at the shop and picking up some freeze dried ice cream. Enjoy this treat of National History with no long lines and at your own pace moveability.

Best museum ever! The space section with US and Russian gear is especially cool, as growing up we had no information about what the Russians were doing. Also, the new museum at Dulles is huge and fascinating, especially the Blackbird.

Wonderful experience for all ages! Spans the age of flight from the beginning to the present. Great exhibits with original air and space craft throughout the facility.

Great day out, so much too see and do. awesome exhibits! IMAX was the icing on the cake. Would recommend to anyone even if they dont have any interest in aircraft!

Planes take me back to the TOP GUN days of Maverick and Goose and I love military air power in general. We have air superiority and the world envys us.

Although it was not close to what NASA has, the kids surely had fun. I love Washington DC. So many things to see, and everything is free.
