I loved this particular museum and could honestly spend days in there. Take your time and absorb our rich history with this wonderful collection of everything Americana! You can see everything from early car models, to the restoration of the American flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner, to George Washingtons military uniform and lets not forget the puffy shirt from "Seinfeld". Have fun and enjoy!

i liked this muesum so much becasue...1. i went there on my birthday 2. i saw this very cute boy in my grade there and i was like OMG!!!!!!! so go there because awesome stuff can happen(sometimes,i guess)

WOW! You can easily spend a day (or more) here. What a treasure for anyone with an interest in American history.

I highly recommend a (free) guided tour, starting from the lobby, to get oriented. The place can be overwhelming, and we only saw a fraction of it in a couple of hours.

I absolutely love the American History Museum. AHM has something to offer everyone and the food at the eatery is delicious. The best features at the museum are the First Wives dress collection, Pop culture and the Star Spangled Banner. If it ever reopens, be sure to take in the Sept 11th exhibit as well.

You can see everything from the flag that was flown on the Pentagon on Sept. 12, 2001 to Dorothy's ruby shoes from the Wizard of Oz to Martha Washington's gown!

The American History Museum is the best part of DC. It has every thing you need to see about america. Micheal Jordan Game Worn Jersey, All in the Family chairs, The Butterfly ballot from Flordia, and much more.
I give it a 11 out of 10. It's that good.
