Its a great place I like it we were visiting from Jamaica ,its a great place to be ,we took lots of pictures siting on the steps and and all over it was well worth the trip!!

I find the best time to visit is on the night memorial tour or in the early fall when crowds are somewhat diminished

There is no other way to say it.

The sheer simple granduar of the Lincoln Memorial is awe-inspiring. It is a solemn place where one can remember an amazing man.
It is beautiful during the day and reverant at night. The views from the Memorial are also worth noting.
I've had the pleasure of visiting here on three different occassions. I certainly will return again.

It's easy to find, free and has one of the best views. It's great on many different levels. Plan to spend an hour or so there, it's not a whole day or anything.

THe whole area and sites close by so great. Makes you feel proud. GO and see DC we plan to go back in the next 5 yrs.....

I really enjoyed visiting this memorial. This was my second time and its great to see things that were missed the first time around. Its an awesome place to be at 1am. The intensity of this historical figure is unbelieveable. I personally am honored to live in a country with men and women who make a difference for everyone.

I visited D.C. several days after breaking my foot and wasn't sure if I could make it up to the monument. What a pleasant surprise to see the elevator sign! (For those needing wheelchairs, they are available at the Vietnam and Korean memorial kiosks)
