I like everything about it and I dislike it because when you go to the white house all of these homeless peolpe try to sell you things off the rip!!

Zackary, Isabel and Eileen went in the month of April and we had a great visit. We visit all the sights and the the locals were very kind to us. We truely had a great time.

The lincoln memorial would have to be one of my favorite places in DC. The building is beautiful with its amazing architecture. It has so much to do inside to learn about one of our greatest presidents, lincoln. Just to top it off, if you look out the front you will have a view down the whole national mall with the reflecting pool right there!

Lincoln Memorial was more breath taking then I had ever expected. It's just beyond words to try and describe the atmosphere here. For the most part the adults that were there were very respectful and in aww of this memorial but they allowed the kids to run about and disrupt others. Its a wonderful and pleasent place. Architecture is great, everything else is fine.
But if I was sitting in place of Lincoln there, Who is now, not allowed to look anywhere else but right in front.
There are so many pillars in front of his statue.
Right in front of him is washington monument which totally obstructs his view of Jefferson ...

This was an amazing sight to see. Our group, (15- 7th & 8th graders on a school trip during spring break 20 years ago), went in the evening. Viewing the combination of the Lincoln Memorial, the reflecting pool and the Washington Memorial in the distance all lit up in the evening was breathtaking. It seemed like time stood still and everything was silent, which only intensified what we were seeing, feeling, understanding and respecting.

This place is good, but not what i was looking for at the moment. It is good so if i ever need it i will keep it in mind!! :)

it was a fasinating experience for me to actually go and see the memorial that was dedicated to Abraham Lincoln for his braveness and accomplishments.

The view was great. I finally got to see what I only read about in history books. I can't wait to go there again.
