My experience at the Capitol was wonderful. The only problem was that many items are prohibited within the Capitol. There is nowhere to leave your bags, and these items are not allowed in your bags in the building.

This was by far one of the best parts of my trip to Washington DC. I have done nothing but talk to family and friends about how amazing the building is! I am now planning my second trip and the Capitol will be our first stop!

Get your Congressmans office to help you determine how to get a tour of the Capitol. You will walk a lot but it is worth it. So much history. So much beautiful art and architecture.
You have to see it to believe it.

The history and knowledge from the tour guide was great. The amount of history you see is outstanding. In every corner there is something new to see and learn.
