This memorial was located on a beautiful site but I just wasnt as impressed with it as much as the others...it seemed to ramble unlike the others....
Unlike the conventional memorials, this one is a winding path through FDR's life. I prefer the type of memorial such as the Jefferson but this was interesting. The cherry blossoms and the dogwood were blooming all around it and it is lit up at night. A must see if you are a WWII buff.
I absolutely love the memorial. The views of the Monument and Lincoln Memorial are spectacular. It is just perfect for a late night walk along the water, its open 24-7. Check it Out!!
This is a very nice place to go. It's in a bit of an odd place, but it eats up a good bit of time and is very interesting. It feels a bit thrown together, still stop by when in D.C. you'll enjoy it.
This is a great place to visit. Its not just about FDR its about the world he lived and served the USA in. I never payed much attention to him in History Class but I learned a ton in that hour. It's worth the extra walk from Jefferson or Lincoln.
This was my son's favorite memorial because of all of the water features. This was by far the most interactive memorial. It is a bit out of the way as compared to the rest of the memorials and monuments but worth the long walk or bus ride.

The FDR Memeoiral is often overlooked by many. Don't pass it by! The fountains and pools of water drown out the city noise and allow your mind to relax. The landscaping is beautiful. But the most impressive feature is perhaps the writings by FDR inscribed in stone. These words written so long ago are as profoundly true and important today as ...
