This may be my all time favorite memorial. It's very somber and touching. You will definitally leave with something to talk about. It can be rather depressing, partly because you really feel connected to what happened.
This was a heartwrenching experience. Everybody should visit this museum. What these poor people endured was horrible. I spent 3 hours in the museum and felt like I could of stayed 8 more. I would love to go back and see it again. An absolutely necessary sight to see when in DC.
We ordered our tickets in advance, which was the only way to go for the 4th of July. The exhibit was great. Very moving!!!!!!! Don't miss it!

I really liked the Holocaust Museum because it taught you more than everything you needed to know about the Holocaust. I would recommend it to parents with kids that are age 8 and up because they have a more hands on exhibit for kids.

Unbelievable

What a stunning realization. There were many videos of real footage during that time that do not hide the truth. There are actual items from survivors and those who weren't so fortunate, such as shoes, clothes, and personal items. The museum is designed with utmost respect and intelligence. There are three floors of permanent exhibition and ...

Only having a few days in Washington and so much to see, this visit was a must for me. The whole experience was one that will remain with me for a long time.
As I walked around the building, I was gripped with two thoughts, why did I come here, this is not fun and I am so glad I have had the opportunity to bare witness to this wonderful ...

A Personal View of the Holocaust

Our class went to the Holocaust Museum on a visit to Washington DC, and even though it discourages the attendance of children, I think we can learn alot from the Museum. It has alot of exhibits that really make you stop and think 'How awful!' or 'Was it really like that?' I ecspecially liked the Daniel's Story exhibit in ...

It was my frist time visiting the Holocaust museum on Sturday November 6, 2005. The experience is one that I will defiantly never forget. The exhibits in the museum had a huge impact on how I now view the Holocaust. I found the identification cards that were handed out before one of the exhibits extremely effective. I still have the one that i took ...
