I enjoyed the Petersen house very much. I felt like I was a part of history standing in the bedroom and parlor. I could imagine the horror and chaos of the time Lincoln lay dying.This is where a great man of history spent his last few hours on earth. It was touching to think of the people waiting in the parlor to hear news of Lincoln.
I like to learn about history and I think this site had a huge impact on my life experience.
