I thought is was outstanding. The workmenship is very very good. You can even see the viens in thier hands. And they have expressions on thier faces. It is a bonus for our country to have such a work of art as a Memorial to WWII Vets. The only thing I could add is that they need to add more benches around the memorial both facing and facing away. ...

This statue is in honor for all those that have gone before us, in all engagements in which the Marine Corps has been involved. It is the epitome of our military and what they do for our freedom. The scenery and landcape surrounding was perfectly placed. Everything was perfect. My family enjoyed the statue and hope to return someday. The trip was fun for the whole family. This is a must-see attraction.

I walk down there all of the time. I live a few hundred yards away. It's a beautful monument and allows a nice view of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol.
