The market is a gathering place for the neighborhood (a neighborhood of young families, interns, hill staffers, and long-time residents from all backgrounds, classes, races, and ethnicities I might add.) where the merchants get to know you and share their wonderful foods and crafts with you. You could make your whole meal out of the samples, but don't forget the incredible prepared foods inside!

The seasonal foods, fruits & vegetables, meats, seafood and cheese is upon the best you will find and diverse... the merchants are extremely knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is friendly. Hard to beat.
