I'm new to the area, so I can't speak to the glory that it used to hold. But, it's a nice "Cheers" atmosphere. They are great for regulars, but others may get a cold sholder from the staff. A lot depends on who's serving. But, their food is good - and rather pricey for the fact that it's a bar.
Try Fri's when they sometimes run 1/2 prices appitizers.
