I was here twice within a week in the summer of 2008 and loved it both times. I was by myself, so sat at the bar and did some reading and watching the kitchen staff hustle as it got busier.

Overpriced and over-impressed with themselves. While the food was pretty good, the portions were tiny and over-priced. They're trying to be too upscale for here in VT. Maybe they'd do well in NYC, but not here, which explains why they're suffering. I detest going to a restaurant and dropping $50 pp and walking out hungry.

In just the short time we were there for dessert, we met the chef and had an in depth conversation about Vermont cheeses. We were very impressed with the location and the selection of food. We plan on eating dinner there next time!
