An airy room, view of the water, good service and good food. I have had lunch and dinner here and enjoyed both. The food is delicious and the mashed potatoes with lobster are to die for.

Perfect Atmosphere
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 11/16/06
I just started coming back in after years of being away, and I was pleasantly surprised. I came in for drinks and appetizers with a few co workers and sat at the bar. The place looked newly renovated and looked fantastic. It was busy but not too noisy and there was definitely an electric pulse in the air. The restaurant is practically surrounded by ...

Excellence on the water
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 12/26/04
The atmosphere and the food combine to give you an excellent dining experience. One of only a few quality Connecticut restaurants that are directly on the water.

Brunch on the Shore
By moogie777, 11/28/05
Brunch at the Rusty Scupper is a wonderful experience. A live piano player plays, the water sparkes, and the mood is festive. The variety of food is amazing, from eggs and bacon to fish to chicken. We go there when we want to give ourselves a real treat!

Scupper Fails to Shine
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/18/06
The ambiance and food were okay, but nothing special. I don't think it was worth the price. In a city with so many culinary wonders, The Rusty Scupper fails to shine. The service was also questionable. Finding a live fly in one's salad does not qualify as good service in my book. The manager did not handle the situation well. Overall, I ...

Not worth the money
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/19/07
They were overpriced for the quality of food and the side dishes are terrible and small! The dinner selections are too limited. The best thing about the restaurant is the view.

THE BEST
By jo ann s, 05/18/07
My friends and I love Sunday brunch. No one rushes us out, we reserve the corner table twice a month or more. I'am even going to have my daughter-in-laws baby shower for 50 people on a Sunday.
