I went to Elitch Gardens to celebrate my daughter's birthday two weeks ago during the week. We were very disappointed as Gift Shops were CLOSED, a lot of the rides were CLOSED, not many Characters parading the Park. It wasn't worth the money!
Six Flags Elitch Gardens is a tiny little park smack dab in the middle of Denver with very few rides, an unclean atmosphere, and resembles more of a cheap county fair than an actual amusement park. My friends and I bought tickets online before comming to the park because it was $10 cheaper (we paid $35 instead of $45). There is a REASON they sell ...
Yes, Six Flags Elitch Gardens is the size of a parking lot, but you you find rides there that you won't find in other places. The Half Pipe is especially unique and a must-do if you visit there. The lines are kind of bad during the day, but i would recommend going from 3:00 to closing because the crowds will thin out. An over-all great park.
I loved the rides and all the things to do there. However I recomend not going with two adults and one child because the child usaully is not tall enough for most of the rides and owing to the fact the adults would like to go on rides other then the batmobile it would be smart to bring someone to stay with the baby. Also in order to afford to eat ...
How do I dislike Elitches? Let me count the ways: It costs a fortune to get in, even if you're just a mom or grandma who has no intention of riding a single thing, doesn't matter, cough up the dough. Haven't been there in two years, but I believe it's still over $30.00 to get in?
Too much $$ for a slab of concreat with roller coasters. Not the old elitches it used to be... very sad. I mean really who can afford to take the family out for $45 a person? I have a big family, this would never happen.
it is very good and well atmosphere.the roller coasters are very exciting.THe price is okay but can be better. The bathrooms shgould be a little cleaner. It is excellent elsewise.
We loved the rides and the fact that we could ride on as many rides as we wanted for one price. We had so much fun that now we want to take our daughter there when she is old enough to ride on the big rides.
This Six Flags is a little smaller than most other parks, but that just means less walking between rides. It really is a good time, especially around Halloween when they make the whole place feel like a haunted forest. It's worth it.
