...of places to find culture in this city. In all honesty the standing exhibits aren't that great, but we do get some incredible traveling exibits. Just recently we had an exibit on Egyptian sculpture that was full of pieces from the Museum in Cairo that they had never let leave the country before. It only came to five cities in the U.S. and we ...

  • What A Treasure

It's nestled in the heart of Devner & next to the Denver Zoo.

Superb exhibits. All three floors offered something for the whole family. Tons of interactive and educational fun.

It also offers a place to replenish your energy with food and drinks before returning to your adventure.

  • Nature and Science museum
    By Teresa, 09/15/05
Better than the zoo. No noise, no smells, no inclement weather. It's an all day, if not two day adventure. The tickets are a bit pricy to do everything, but there is definately room for multiple trips per year to see the displays, the shows at the IMAX, and the planetarium!

DMSN is a woderful facility with a wide variety of learning and fun activities. The IMAX theater and planetarium are great.
Look for the hidden elfs in the displays if you have extra time.

This is a great attraction for kids and adults alike! Great permanent exhibits, and wonderful traveling exhibits as well. Parking can be a hassle.

  • Awesome!
    By Justin W, 09/08/05
I've been here twice now and every time I go, I have a wonderful time, deffinitely worth checking out! When I was there the first time, I saw my first IMAX movie and I was in awe of the size of the screen. There are plenty more things to do other than just the theatre. I'm not sure if they still have it there, but check out the body section.

The museum is one of my favorite places to attend. I love learniing about all the history and science stuff. When I was a child the Hall of Life was my favorite attraction because it was so hands on and and children can get involved while learning about health. I also enjoyed the dinasours, and the hisory of all this come to pass. The rocks are another great attraction. I am lookin foward to my next visit.
