We stayed at the Marriott on 16th Street and enjoyed walking down the mall in the evenings. We took in a couple of movies at the theatre a couple of blocks from the hotel. There are countless numbers of places to eat and listen to live music. It wasn't really what I was expecting because of the variety of stores on the mall....like ...
Spent four days in downtown near 16th street at the Westin Tabor, which is way way overpriced, the place is kind of dumpy for such an expensive hotel. Anyways the 16th street area was kind of cool because it was easy to walk around but and this is a big but (which there were alot in Denver) there were a ton of homeless and vagrants sitting on the ...

Denver Rocks!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/09
I think Denver is one of the most amazing city's I have ever been through! The 16th Street Mall atmosphere compared to other city' walks, is uncomparable. Denver has a unique and fun feel! Besides the shopping it has a great range of lounges that is wonderful for a nice day! It's vibrant atmosphere is what got me the most, along with ...

Will Not Go Back

It was easy to find and park on the street. Trees along the street were nice. However, there was nothing distinguishing about the shopping and restaurants, which are the same as you can find in any mall most anywhere. We were there about 7:00 p.m. and most retail stores were closed. There is a free mall shuttle, but it was crowded, not air ...
Love downtown. It's a great place to walk around or hang out on a nice sunny day. If visiting Elitches, Coors Field or any other denver attraction, great place to go and get some cheap food. Go at night and its a romantic wonderland. All lit up with Clydesdales pulling carriages up and down the street...very nice.

Under construction and there is not really anything there. A few stores (golf, one clothing, florist and a tobacco store. The food court was okay. They do have the Cheesecake Factory which was the only bonus.

The Mall is just a great place to shop. Visited Colo and Denver just about every yr from 10 years back. Will always return. The shops are great and the mall buses are a plus. Most cities have their downers, and of course, Denver is no exception, but as an exciting shopping area, we like it. Sure, some shops have closed and the so-called ...

Don't go down there!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/04
There were a few interesting shops but nothing unique. If you are going to just walk around, it isn't worth it. The whole street smells like urine and is inhabitted by gutterpunks and the like. It reminds me of downtown san jose, a place with potential but not there yet. Lots of the stores had moved out already and the place seemed a bit run ...
