The food here is the best German/Czech food in the Denver and surrounding area. The owner went from table to table chatting with even the largest groups there for lunch. The service was great and all the staff attending to our needs and chatted with us. Fast, friendly, and truly wonderful food at affordable prices. What more could you possibly ask for? Try it, you won't be disappointed!

If you like to try new things, this is the place to go. They have a great variety of foods, all of which are delicious. The owner is always around making sure everyone is enjoying all aspects of their dining experience. I recommend this place to everyone I know, because small business' like this one deserve to have a wider variety of customers. All around, one of the best restaurants around!

The only problem with this place is that it is closed on Mondays. Some of the best Bavarian food I have had in the States. The potatoe pancakes are the best, and their gravy is even better. Can't wait to go back.

Roast duck was exquisite. (Anyone who ate at Marie's in Berthoud will weep with pleasure and nostalgia.) If the liver dumpling soup has a flaw, it's that there's not more of it.

This family run restautant is the best in Denver. The service is excellent and the food is even better. The prices are very reasonable and the beers are great. Menu items are usually listed in English, Czech and German. I've been going here for years and it never dissapoints.

I hope they'll give me a job!
By yashinator2006, 09/05/05
This place was amazing! Not only is the authentic Eastern European cuisine stupendous. Our waiter was not a generic take the order and run. He had time to chat with us and he turned out to be quite the charmer. The host also came around and gave us a history of the place and of just about any place in Europe we wanted LOL!! The busser was pretty cute too, thats why I want the job. ;) ;)

The Czech food was comparable to that of the Czech Republic. Also, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend the liver dumpling soup and spaetzle.
