This is a fantastic place to walk around, there are trails and there are paved walkways. The view is awesome! I want to go back to Colorado Springs just to hang out and explore this area!

We hike in GOG on a monthly basis. (Its 10 min from our house) Make sure you put on your shoes with good treds and get off those concrete paths and hike the "real" trails away from the center of the park. The kids will love the exploring and you'll get away from the crowds a little. Go early in the AM or late evening and you might ...

I felt like I was in a Holy place. The lack of humidity made it comfortable even on a hot day.The mountains snow capped peaks took my breath away rising up above the landscape like a perfect picture.Looming over you wherever you go almost like they are watching over us as much as we look up to them. The spirit of God was definately strong in this place of vast beauty.Alive with water falls , springs, rushing waters, and all the sounds of the wild.
Beautiful and a museum you can tour is near the site as well. There is also a gift shop. Ample parking available and areas to picnic are available as well.
If you are ever in Colorado Springs you must go see the Garden of the God's.It is so amazing and it doesn't matter what season it is.Every time I go to Colorado I go there and take lots and lots of pictures.Make sure you take your hiking boots and have a full tank of gas..it is a must see!!
We stopped at the Garden of the Gods on our trip from North Dakota to Arizona. We had a great time taking fun, unique pictures. But the best part was while we were on a trail admiring a family of deer about 10 feet away with the sun shining and the beautiful scenery, my boyfriend got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was so perfect! I will always remember our trip to the Garden of the Gods and I can't wait to go back again!
Garden of the Gods is breath taking. The rock formations are something else. There were people rock climbing on one and that was exciting to see. There were cars there from all over the country. Make sure you take the time to see it when you are in Colorado.
Garden of the Gods has some of the most beautiful mountains and rocks. It was such a peaceful place. We took lots of great pictures to show our family; but there is nothing to compare with seeing it in person. We would definitely return or recommend it to our friends visiting Colorado Springs.

had a picnic lunch there and the gray jays were eating out of our hand. The garden is just breathtaking. We had a local friend showing us all the sights in the area.
