Parking can be a hassle, but we went on a Friday afternoon about 3 pm and had no problem-got a spot right out front. Had coupons from the handout we got at the Chamber of Commerce, so we saved .50 each. This is worth the money because of the architecture and sense of adventure in exploring all the areas. There is much to be seen. The dollhouse ...

Interesting Castle
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
I loved the idiosyncrasies of the architecture! The mismatched windows, the mysteriously tiny rooms, the abnormal number of sides to the rooms- just fascinating! As for the ghosts- nope- didn't see any (I still need to check the pictures I took) but I felt very unwanted in the Christmas room-I didn't stay in that room very long! We were in the Denver area only a couple days & I'm glad we happened upon the Miramont Castle!

An interesting tour. It is self guided. We had one paranormal experience there and people there speak freely of the strange goings-on. The doll and dollhouse section is worthless. The house itself is interesting. Don't miss the small sealed off area where there is arsnic based wallpaper. The house is full of stuff like this. If you have a few hours, don't miss it.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/25/07
I am fascinated with ghosts and hauntings. That place does not disappoint. It is weel worth the time and money to go to one of the most haunted places in the country. If you love ghosts then you will love Miramont Castle.

Miramont Castle
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/07
I have been to the castle twice. It is stuck in time, but rich in history. What did that person mean about redecorating? I mean how do you make old like new? Whats the point? It is a wonderful place to take your older grandkids and spend a couple of hours and talk about mother[the abbots stern looking mother, the one the house was built for] and ...

Will never take anyone there again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
I am a resident of Colorado Springs but had never visited the castle. I took a guest and felt very much like I wasted part of her short time in the area. I thought the doll museum on the lower level was not what the castle was supposed to be about. The information on the walls sometimes talked about items that were no where to be found in the ...

Ghosts and Children
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/05
I adored going to the Miramont Castle with my 4 year old daughter.
Yes, it is stuck in time, but that is what gives the beautiful old home it's . . . atmosphere. The stories of the ghosts and the feelings that my daughter, best friend and I felt were amazing. Every nook and cranny is filled with something, so it was like a giant historial ...

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/05
That place is haunted. Everything is stuck in time. The children were scared and held by the music, you can feel the indian that was killed below the stairs before the place was built, and the woman that killed herself on the highest floor is still there in the Christmas room. I'm not going back but if you're like my father and you seek ...

Not worth the admission fee.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/05
It was ok but not worth the admission fee. Would not recommend it unless you like to see houses and stuff. The best part about it was the doll house area.

Treasure of Victorian America
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/05
We really enjoyed this treasure of Victorian America. Our walk through the past was delightful. We enjoyed the information provided in each room, the only thing it would be nice if they updated it with their redocrating. It would be great to have more information on the peolpe who lived here. I recommend you take this tour if love old houses and history. Have a safe and fun trip.
