I have lived by and hiked in this park for over 40 years, lately it is getting overused by bike riders dressed like they are in training for the indy 500. Still, if you choose your time right, usually weekdays early, you can still walk quietly, without always feeling like their is a bike rider on your heals barking for you to move aside

How lucky are we in Colorado Springs to have such a beautiful park right in the center of town? Hiking and biking trails abound, as well as picnic areas, a huge playground, dog park, ballfield, and scenic overlook. Keep the park clean and pack it out!!

Perfect for the afternoon bike ride, complete with paved and off-road trails. They are even catagorized like ski runs (green, blue, black) to help keep the novice out of trouble.
