a festive local place, great to relax with friends or sit at the long bar and say hello to someone seated next to you. great for a date, or with a big group. my kids love going too- they open early at 5:30. there are creative dishes with salmon and elk, but also alot of delicious vegetarian options. the sweet potato fries and home made guac are fabulous! love it! eat there!

I loved the coziness and cost of this place. You sure can try something new from the menu and it will be loaded with flavor. This place is a hidden gem. A great place to relax, eat and enjoy a nice drink.

This is a very small restaurant with great food, and very little pretension (no need for fur). Great spinach, feta, pecan, and cherry vinaigrette salad. You might even see a local or two if you dine here.

We have been coming to Aspen for the past nine years and this is the first year we've been going to Blue Maize. We've been there 5 times in the last two months. It has fast become our favorite. Great trout and french fried sweet potatoes. It's a local favorite. Good value, fast and friendly service. The only problem is that the outdoor seating is only at a high bar height. No tables.
