Mariposa Grove is sooo serene and beautiful!!! Walking up the trails made me think of owning property up in the mountains...they trails are sooo long and great for excersise or just relaxing!!!

I hope there BIG BEAUTYS keep growing for thousands and thousands of more years....

I never seemed so small as I stood at the base of these giant trees. Words cannot express or pictures show how great these trees are. If you are ever given a chance, you must go see these great trees.

First of all I suggest that you hike this because the tram ride does not stop at any tree for very long at all.

My favorite trees:
Grizzly Giant (of course) because of thickness of not just the trunk but the arms too.

Telescope Tree: hollow and still loving? Wow!

I have visited this grove twice, one in the fall and once in the spring, my memories of this place are magical. When standing under these silent giants you gte the feeling of safety and security but also of serenity. This is a very peaceful place, I rank it second only to the Avenue of the Giants (another must visit.)

that person who wrote that review above is nuts - the Grove is AWESOME especially when you get to see GRIZZLY - the largest damn tree i have ever seen - its like 3000 yrs old and the size is just HUGE liek a building!! AMAZING and worth the whole trip.
