Exceeded ExpectationsThis is not cheap, and I like to “get what I pay for”. However, this was incredible and we’re going to do it again. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

The Best Excursion Train in California!Historically significant excursion train ride offers something for everybody. There is a shaded picnic area for those who bring their own feast, and a snack bar for those who don't. Food includes sandwiches, soda, beer, snacks and ice cream. HISTORY ALIVEWHAT IS NOT TO LIKE, THE TRAIN SAYS IT ALL. THE RIDE, ATMOSPHERE, KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERSONNEL, AND THE VALUE ARE THE BEST VALUE I HAVE HAD IN ALONG TIME. Loved the Moonlight packageWe did the Moonlight package and it was great! It started off with a BBQ dinner (very tasty but typical). While eating we were serenaded by 3 singers with guitars. We then boarded the train and took a ride to a grove of trees where they set up a campfire. We sang songs, they told jokes and stories. We then rode back.
