  • We look forward to returning.
    By JuneDaddy, 04/05/09
What a great experience. My wife and I are huge fans of history museums, however we have never been to an Egyptian museum. This museum has great displays, a courteous staff, and is an all around great time. We especially liked the replica stone-carved tomb. The beautiful garden is great for a stroll with your spouse. A step back into history. ...

  • Nice little museum
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/07
There was a lot to look at, interesting stuff. I had no idea that it would be so interesting or contain so much. I'll probably go back. Normally, I'd think you'd have to go up to SF for something like this, so it is nice to have this down south.

  • Expensive, but good
    By Darci, 08/04/07
It was a bit expensive, but the displays were interesting and unique. They don't have a lot of mummies, though, if your kids are expecting them. (Ours were.) Would definitely go again. Don't bother staying for the planetarium show, though. We stayed extra for it, and found it a waste of time. The kids fell asleep, and we almost did, too. Unless your interested in the Rosicrucian Order, it's not worth your time.

  • Definitely worth a visit
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/16/05
Wish there was more information about how the period in history they focus on fits in with the enormous Egyptian history. Still, wonderful exhibits!

  • Don't miss the guided tour of the tomb
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/07/05
The artifacts were interesting, and the display text was instructive, but it was difficult to get an overview of the culture and history; everything was broken into chunks that were not linked into an overall narrative. The guided tour through a "typical" tomb (created by the museum after a intensive photo study of 40 actual tombs) was educational for adults and entertaining for young teens.

  • fascinating!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/04
It was beautiful and interesting. I loved learing about ancient egypt. My younger siblings had a great time, too, and we range in age from 7 years to 17. The tomb was the best part.

  • Rosicrucian Museum
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/04
I think it should be clearly stated in their ads that the Museum is absolutely not wheelchair
accessible or even frail elderly friendly. There are lots of steps and no elevators. Even the
grounds are bumpy and narrow. I have spoken to the personnel there and they are definitely
not planning on changing. After a recent renovation they ...
