It's the ideal place to destress from school or work. Just reading here is relaxing and there are koi that you could feed. The scenery is just wonderful and the sounds of water trickling is calming.

Nice Place to Relax in Summer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/06
I visited in Winter and it was freezing sometimes. I guess in Summer it would be a great place to have a picnic with family and kids.
The Japanese Friendship Garden has a nice setup with water pools that has ducks and big fish. You can feed the fish and ducks, kids will enjoy it. The water is clean and the place is nice.
The only think you ...

Spacious and peaceful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/05
My husband and I like this garden particularly because of its extensive pond and waterfall system. The layout is beautiful. There are several bridges that allow you to look over the fishes and ducks.
I went here with my wife this weekend. It was a Sunday. Parking costs $6 which was a surprise. The Friendship Garden is great. It's not huge but it is very relaxing. There is a huge pond with HUGE koi fish. There are dispensers aroudn the ponds to buy fish food. The grounds are well kept. There was some trash here and there, but ...

Good place for a date, for kids, and for good times
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/05
The Garden is a good place to go on a date. Bring some food, make a picnic of it and take quarters to get fish food and feed these enormous coy fish. If you have kids take your kids (and ignoring the people making out because they might be on a date...just kidding) because they will love feeding the fish.

The overall appearance was nice. There was garbage in some areas that should not have been there. Relaxing. Enjoyed the Bamboo forest. Not too much to see.
