I've heard so many complainers but the place is beautiful. I understand that it STILL costs to have us there, the admission cost couldn't put a dent in all of the park's expenses I imagine. I was happy with all of its new changes, if you keep up with the park's news you find out that there are REASONS behind changes. This park is a ...
My husband and I became members a couple of years ago and we LOVE being able to go whenever we want to (it's a little over an hour from our home). The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the animals are extremely well-cared for, and the staff are knowledgeable and fun. HIGHLIGHT: The Cheetah Run Safari. We are cheetah lovers and my husband ...

Our family has just returned from a trip to your beautiful state. We are from Canada so of course we loved the weather and we took in many sights but one of the best days was spending a full day at your wild animal park!! We felt like we were on a safari. It was 83 degrees but it was the most wonderful day a family could spend together. The park is ...

We visited about 10 years prior and they have added some wonderful exhibets. We got there just after opening and stayed until after 4:00pm. We were tired, but went home with wonderful memories and great pictures.

You need two days to fit it all in

This place is amazing. I was able to see within 10 feet of me; 7 baby lion cubs, 2 very busy moms and 1 very proud dad against the glass at what is called Lion Camp. I took a ride that is called Journey into Africa and it was like I was on a safari; rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, and lots of antelopes and gazelles. I walked up a hill to see 4 baby ...

The Wild Animal Park is a great place to spend a day - or a week! The BEST part is the Safari Tour - where the people are in a car, and the animals are running wild in the beautiful open landscape!!!!! For the price of a 2 hour trip to an amusement park ( which is NOT available!) - you can spend an entire day here - and the surprises are around ...

Was good now disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
We used to be yearly pass holders to the Wild Animal Park. We just visited the park and were disappointed to find that they discontinued the monorail ride which was included in the cost of admission. The new ride costs an additional $10 if you don't purchase the upgraded tickets. The old rail ride was an hour long and showcased many of the ...

This is a great place to visit, spend time walking the gardens and meditating. The animals are so well taken care of and the landscape is just delightful. The staff is commended on their friendliness and caring.

great place
By JessicaD, 11/19/07
I love this place and my son and I have been going since he was 18 monthes old. We love seeing all the animals in a wide open space and love the atmosphere. They have a great picnic area. The food is the only down side. I did not like any of the food I have eaten at the park to date.

Disappointed visitor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
The park lead me to believe there were tigers and other big animals to see up close - and it was NOT true - unless you took the truck ride at 50.00. And there were no tigers at all.
