I loved this family style campground it was very clean especially the bathrooms which is really important to me to have clean bathrooms. Lots of trees and even pomegranets growing wild there.
I will go back and try fishing next time as I met a fisherman there who said you can get bass.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Nice easy hikes, bird watching and a group was having a wedding looked well set up for parking and the gazebo on the hill... going to try fishing one of these times. Just a super place to spend a layed back weekend. We love it.

Nearly impossible to find a ranger in the office.
The bathrooms never get cleaned. There was sewage backing up into the showers and toilets, no water in bathroom. Park Supervisor would not give a refund despite these conditions. Many transiets living in this park also. Keep a very close eye on your children if you camp here.
Walmart's parking lot would be better!

It was an easy mid-day drive from Ventura County and well worth the effort. The campground is well kept,quiet and has a frendly/helpful staff. We, 6 RV rigs, enjoyed 5 days of fun either hiking, relaxing or enjoying many of the areas attractions.
