It is overhyped for sure! well u do get to see the panda and the sleeping koalas..but if u are on a holiday with only limited time..avoid this.This is a timekiller..with nothing great to offer. I have gone to this zoo twice before and I plan to return. I have been to many zoos and this is one of my favorites. Don't miss the place where river otters and monkeys play together. The underwater hippo exhibit is amazing, too. I loved the beautiful hilly setting and find it hard to see why anyone would complain about that!

The San Diego Zoo was fun! There was lots to do & see. If you get tired, go see a show with animals. The zoo is very well maintained. Ride the Skyfari...it's great! The only thing is that snacks & drinks were expensive, but one should always expect that when going to zoos or amusement parks. Overall, a wonderful & memorable experience.

I really liked this zoo! It was huge, so we didn't get to see all of it, but we got got to see alot of different animals, and the staff was nice! We had a good experience there, I would reccomend it for people with children from maybe.. 2 - 10 of age. If they like animals, I really would reccomend it. But I was kind of hoping for somthing a little more.
