Our family has spend many happy hours at the Zoo. The recently revamped Hippo exhibit is fantastic. Love to watch them play and wrestle. Amazing collection of reptiles. Be sure to do the bus tour so you can get a feel for the expansive grounds of this San Diego treasure.

This a really large zoo. You have to take the tram tour to really see the whole zoo. If you have children and walk the whole thing, they will be exhausted.

GREAT,ALWAYS VISIT WHEN IN TOWN,CANNOT FAULT THE FACILITIES OR THE ANIMALS,ALTHOUGH SOME CAGES/ENCLOSURES COULD BE BIGGER,IE THE BEARS.
GREAT FOR KIDS AND OLD ALIKE,THE BUS AND ARIEL TRAMWAY GOOD FOR INFIRM OR ELDERLY GETTING ABOUT,ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME HILLS.
SPEND ALL DAY,ARRIVE EARLY AND PLAN YOUR SIGHTING WITH FEEDING TIMES IN MIND.

Best zoo out there. Be in shape, because you're going to be walking for miles. It's hard to take it all in in just one day theres so much to see

We are from Lincoln, Nebraska and have always heard about the San Diego Zoo. It seemed like a fourth of the exhibits did not have animals in it. Nothing spectacular about this zoo. The zoo in Omaha is 50 times better. The SD zoo just let us down.

This place is a wonderful for romantic couples. I am recommending this great zoo to tourists on Valentine's Day. Animals at the zoo look cute everywhere.

This is a good sized zoo, with lots to see and do. Make sure you bring a stroller for the little ones, there is a lot of walking involved. You may not have time in one day to do everything. The prices at the food courts are a bit steep, as with all fun parks. This is fun for every age!
