The first time I went to Mission Beach was in 1994. Last year I went twice in about 2 months. You have to ride the rollercoaster on the beach nothing can top it. The shopping is reasonable especially if you want to pick up the 3/10.00 t-shirt specials. I would say go up the boulevard until you reach sunset cliffs that is a really a great place to take pictures too!

We went to Mission Beach two different times during our stay in San Diego. The first time we walked around the park, and looked at the different shops. We then went to the roof top deck of Canes, had a couple drinks and watched the waves roll in, very relaxing. Then we walked on the beach collecting shells. On the last day we went back, went to ...

You may or may not like Mission Beach depending on the day. Weekends are really busy in the summer so stay away. Mission Beach covers a wide area and there are many things to do from laying out to shopping to kayaking.
I've stayed at the Mission Bay Tennis Resort, it was great, it's right across from Sea World, it's an overall great place to stay. we had a ball walking around and touring lots of things, San Diego in itself is a great place to visit.

AHHH! HEAVEN

Sun, sand and the ocean breeze.
The beauty of the ocean and the sound of the waves. Schools of dolphins and the sun shimmering on the water. The sand white and all sparkly. Cliffs with huge kites and people gliding over the blue water, round and round in circles in the sky. AHHH! HEAVEN

A great place to meet all the people who live in the great city of San Diego. Even if you dont feel like taking a walk on its sandy beach you can take a roller coaster ride, Have a nice dinner and cocktail at one of its many resaurants or just walk the boardwalk and admire all the beachfront property inhabited by encentric locals
