i play in Arizona on courses that are desert in nature so this course is completely different. It's really a special course with beautiful views and very challenging. The ball carries much farther in the desert so your club selection has to reflect the climate. The main objection I have is that particularly during peak times, play can be extremely backed up so allow close to a 5 hour round. I love to play here and wish I could more often.

One of my first choices for golf next time in San Diego

One of the very best Muncipal Golf Courses I've ever played. Coronado is a relatively short course (6400 yards from the white tees) but, they make the most of what they have. Manicured greens and fairways combined with great par 3's and challenging doglegs, right and left. Many blind 2nd shots. Great views of San Diego bay. Can't wait to play it again.
