i play in Arizona on courses that are desert in nature so this course is completely different. It's really a special course with beautiful views and very challenging. The ball carries much farther in the desert so your club selection has to reflect the climate. The main objection I have is that particularly during peak times, play can be extremely backed up so allow close to a 5 hour round. I love to play here and wish I could more often.

I first played this course in 1999 as a tourist in San Diego. While the course was not real long, it did offer a good challenge to the average Joe (read that 99% of us).
