Bishers has a friendly staff and the best meats in town. My favorite is the beef Maui ribs. They're seasoned perfectly and are a great cut of meat. My mouth waters just thinking about them. They also have great London broils and regular ribs.

For meat from anywhere else!! Even when we go out to eat, we are constantly comparing the quality of the beef to Bishers...occasionally it compares favorably!

Oh and I will never EVER bother with making the trek from Poway to the Honeybaked Ham store again since we had Bishers honey mustard glazed spiral ham last night. It was simply fabulous.

Service is always great too.

Great food, great service, great place... :). We had a great prime rib from there. We also had the best turkey ever from there as well.

Bishers is a great little butcher shop. There steaks are top quality as well as there homemade sausage. They also have San Diegos best selection of exotic meats, buffalo, ostrich, vennison, alligator, and more. The only down side to this shop is that is it located out in Ramona. However if your are on the way to Julian for the day I recommend stopping by Bishers on the way back to San Diego

I'm a customer at Bishers, and they don't know I'm writing this review...but I have to say, they have a better selection of meats than in any shop I've seen. The quality of their beef is consistently excellent, as are all their specialty meats. For the best steak in San Diego, without any equivocation, go to Bishers and grill it yourself!
