NOT recommendedThey do not tell you they lock thermostats at 72-73 - units do not cool under 75 and windows do not open for air flow. Resort manager will tell you -"units are old so equipment might break and can not afford to fix as it could cost $3000". plus does not follow up on promises or commitments. restaurant closes 5 pm-no food close by. beds ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Huge disappointment!Before I begin my rant, before our Thursday to Monday stay at the Cimarron, we have otherwise been very satisfied Raintree members. The four Mexican resorts we've visited are wonderful. Not so with the Cimarron. First, we were told by the Raintree reservations rep that only studios were available. Stay at Cimarron Thank God for my husband.Stayed in the studio unit, extra room for the one bed-room suites. Got stuck on the off-side of the pool, where there would have been....well, at least the pool. We don't golf so this was a serious error. Nothing out there, dark room with way too much noise from the suite attached to ours with a baby. All seemed like very nice people, ...3 of 3 Yahoo! Links Loses LusterThe Links style golf course at Cimarron Resort tickles the eye as having the makings of a good track, but eventually leaves something to be desired. At $110, you would expect to be getting the same type of treatment as some other comparable courses in the same price range. Cimmeron Resort(October '04)My wife an I had a chance to visit and use a studio unit for a week. The studio was a lock-off-unit, whcih had a locked door that went into the one bedroom half. All was fine until the nextdoor neighbors decided to argue very loudly, which was much more entertaining than the tv.
