HOME AWAY FROM HOME!Ginger is amazing! And she IS the restaurant! Her greeting, by name, sets the mood as she escorts you to your table. Once seated the attention to detail and by the staff if excellent. The only thing better is the food! Consistently top notch! Tony is our favorite waiter, in fact, our ONLY waiter! A great dinnerFood was excellent...presentation was superb. Service was beyond both. Duck was spectacular, as was the shrimp and scallop dish. I had the Ahi Tuna...was not served warm (as advertised), which led to my less than superior review.
That said, it was a wonderful restaurant, with great service...and a nice ambience.OVERALL

"THE BEST"Our reservation was made 1 hour prior to arrival. Ginger greeted me by name and we were seated at the # 1 table (front of restrauant.)I could not believe our plates were covered with "Welcome Mark" making it a nice touch.
I was however with a V.I.P from Los Angeles who is a regular.
The food and service was outstanding.

On Par With Las Vegas...better valueEating at the Shame of the Moon for the first time over Memorial Day weekend was an excellent experience. Being from Las Vegas one never truly knows what to expect from new restaurants. Shame on the Moon was as good or better than many of the Strip restaurants, and best of all, was a better value for the money. Very goodThe food was very, very good. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was so-so: the waiter was slow, confused about who ordered what, and eager for many of his tables to leave (he would start collecting salt and pepper shakers while people were still finishing their dining!). from the past, but just our style. A reservation is a good idea, because this restaurant is so very popular - especially during the high season.
