The restaurant inside is like a cozy English Pub. The prime rib was served to my liking and was tender. The portions of food are huge. The creamed spinich was too salty. The popover was too brown. The wedge salad wasn' that exciting. Just iceberg, blue cheese dressing and chopped tomatoe. Would have liked to have seen some bacon and onions ...

Whenever the temp gets down low out here, meaning 60 degrees, it is our first choice. The warmth, history, ambiance, and friendly service always is just right to warm the soul. Love the chicken and dumplings is so wonderful, and always enough for another meal the day after. There's just no other restaurant with the kind of comfortable atmosphere that I can think of out here.

Every time we go back to the Desert it is always our first place to go!!!Have gone there for many years. It is always consistently good and never a disappointment.
